capital o padre island is a charming beachside motel. it's just 0.5 miles from the beach, making it super easy to pop over for some sun. the rooms are clean, and there’s plenty of parking. having a domino's and an italian restaurant right next door made our post-beach dining a breeze.

It was just a commendable fit for a whistle-stop in Corpus Christi with real value for money. The room was pretty quiet and had good access to the beach. Bring your own snacks since there's no complimentary breakfast available.

Had a decent stay for 5 nights. The staff was super friendly and helped me out when they saw I was alone and using rideshares. My room was clean, just could use a bit of freshening up. It’s really close to the beach, too! But the bathroom door didn’t lock, kinda inconvenient.

Management kept the room clean, and the location is close to the beach. The room had a musty odor.
